When do you need to notify the ACRA about changes in the company structure of Singapore Company?
Every company in Singapore is registered with ACRA to operate. This also means that a company has to update ACRA regarding changes in the information that it had submitted during the incorporation of the company.
Every company is supposed to notify the ACRA whenever a change is being made in company management or structure. Failure in doing so may result in a penalty or summon.
A company is liable to inform ACRA for the changes in information such as:
Change in your company’s name, registered address, principle activities or officers of the company
Change in credentials of officers in the company or any other information such as passport number, nationality, residential address
Change in shareholders’ particulars such as nationality, residential address, etc
Change in the name of a foreign company or any other similar information
Change in the credentials or other personal data of any authorized representative or director of the foreign company
Change in any Statute, Memorandum or other similar instruments of a foreign company
