How to Know which business entities person is involved in Singapore?

All businesses in Singapore are regulated by ACRA, the country’s regulatory authority on company incorporation. ACRA provides the public with access to these business profiles for transparency and communication, business, and research purposes.

Besides business profiles, people profiles are also accessible on ACRA.

About ACRA’s People Profile

ACRA’s People Profile is a report on all the business entities that a person is or was affiliated with. This report comes in PDF format. Below is an extensive guide on how to search a person on ACRA through People Profile.

Go to www.bizfile.gov.sg.
Hover your cursor over the Buy Information button.
Select People Profile.
- To obtain your much-needed information about a person, you need two kinds of information. These information are the name of the person, as in the one exactly indicated in his or her official records, and his or her NRIC number. Having these information will make this process easier for you.
In the People Search subpage, you will see the Enter Identification No. or Name field. Type the person’s name and click Search.
- If you know the identification number of that person, type it instead as this would provide you with more accurate data.
The website will display the list of the profiles matching your search.
Find the last four digits of the NRIC number that match your copy.
Once you identify the right person, click Add to Cart and pay.
- The People Profile is priced at S$33.00.
The People Profile will then be sent to your email.
- The People Profile basically consists of the person’s NRIC number, name, nationality or citizenship, and address.
- Most importantly, the People Profile includes all the person’s past and/or current affiliations, such as sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies, foreign entities, shareholdings, or any other organizations.
