Can you file employment pass application before company is incorporated in Singapore?
You can only submit an Employment Pass application after the incorporation of the company in Singapore. Following are the requirements to incorporate a company in Singapore:
At least one shareholder (individual or corporation)
At least one resident director (Entrepreneur Pass holder, Employment Pass holder, Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident or Dependant’s Pass holder with Letter of Consent)
At least one company secretary (company officer)(We provide this service)
Minimum paid-up capital S$1
Registered office address in Singapore (We also offer this service)
A resident director is required to meet statutory requirements. We provide Nominee Director services to provide you with a nominee resident director until you receive your Employment Pass.
You can start to act as a resident director in your company as soon as you secure your Employment Pass. Your physical presence is not required for the company registration and Employment Application processes.
