CPF

What are CPF (Central Provident Fund) contributions computed on?

CPF (Central Provident Fund) contributions are computed on a person’s total monthly wage. Total monthly salary is the sum of a person’s OW (ordinary wage) and AW (additional wage).

Ordinary wages are the monthly payable wages of a person that are due or granted exclusively and entirely in connection with the employment of the employee.

Additional wages are the bonuses, incentives, allowances, and commissions that are not paid monthly.

CPF contributions are computed based on both OW and AW.
