I have an employment pass; can I bring my dependents along?

Singapore Dependant Pass Guide


Employment pass holders can bring in their dependents along with them in SIngapore. However, for this the employment pass holder must earn a minimum salary of $6000 per month.

Dependents that can apply for a dependent pass are :

  • Legally Married Spouse
  • Unmarried children under 21 (Biological or Legally Adopted)

The other option is to bring them on a long term social visit pass.

Family members that can enter Singapore with a Long Term Visit Pass :

  • A Common-law spouse
  • Unmarried handicapped children above 21
  • Unmarried stepchildren under 21
  • Parents (this is only permitted for EP holders earning at least S$10,000 per month)

Your Employer can apply for dependent or LTVP while submitting the Employment pass application or separately.
