Can a Dependant’s Pass holder who owns a business firm, company, or limited liability partnership apply for a LOC (Letter of Consent)?

Dependant’s Pass holders are not entitled to LOC (Letter of Consent) if they hold a crucial position in an entity. They must appoint another person to manage the company if they want to draw a salary.

A Dependant’s pass holder who is a director and/or shareholder in a Singapore-registered company is not allowed to apply for LOC (Letter of Consent).
