What is an Employment Pass (EP)?

One of the work passes being provided by the ministry is the Employment pass. This is one of the primary work visas issued to a foreign professional, Managers and Executives.

They must earn a minimum of $3600 a month to be eligible to apply for the same. These young professionals must also be a graduate from a reputed college.

Employment pass is further divided into three categories:

• P1 : Your fixed monthly salary is S$8,000 and above per month.
• P2 : Your fixed monthly salary is S$4,500 and above per month.
• Q1 : You are a young graduate from a reputed institute and you earn at least S$3,600 per month.
