No. The Nominee Director is purely for fulfilling legal requirements. He will not have any commercial, managerial or operational role. You are required to designate your directors (who can be non-residents) who will run the business on a day-to-day basis.
On an exceptional basis, the nominee director can sign a contract. However, for this, the document must be vetted by us and it needs to be signed by your operating director first. The cost of vetting and lawyer charges if any, will need to be borne by you. Normally the business contracts are expected to be signed by your operating directors.
